I am a Registered Nurse. I work in a Nurse Consultant role as a Clinical Specialist.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.

I also have an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

I am Board Certified as a Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) and Board Certified in Gerontological Nursing (GERO-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

When I was 18 year old I was baptized as a Christian, largely due to the influence of Richard Mullins, a man who had a tremendous impact on my life. I dated his daughter, and he was the first man I had ever met that was loving and kind, which gave me a desire to know Christ. He got me involved in ministry at the Church, and gave me my first opportunities to share with the Church what Christ was doing in my life. He always told me that I would be a Pastor someday. Richard ended up being very ill due to cancer. The experience of being with him and his family in the hospital, and the care he needed at home and in nursing facilities, helped lead me toward nursing.

My nursing career began with caring for Tracheostomy and Ventilator patients. From there I moved into Nursing education in the clinical setting, and became a Director of a Skilled Nursing Facility with tracheostomy, ventilator, hemodialysis, and rehab patients. I then moved into Hospice care, where I managed home teams, SNF teams, and Hospital teams. I returned to the Skilled Nursing setting for nursing education and to oversee EMR implementation before moving into a Director role again. Then I moved into a Regional role.
